Introduction

Mercerized wool smooth mixed oil HOD-31 is a the modified polysiloxane softener.

Advantage

Basic Character

Appearance: light yellow transparent liquid

Ionicity: weak cationic/non-ionic

pH: 6.0-6.5

Solid content: 88-90%

Application

Apply to hand finishing of wool/acrylic and wool/polyester

Usage Amount for Reference 

Dipping Process: HOD-31 diluted emulsion(20% solid content)5-12%(o.w.f)

Temperature: 35-40℃

pH: 5-6

Time: 20-30min

Package

 100kg or 190kg plastic barrel.

Storage

 Store in cool and ventilated warehouse. 6 months of storage period.

Emulsification Method

HOD-31：200kg

Emulsifier: 70kg

glacial acetic acid:4kg

Water: 1000kg

Dilute process:

1. Add HOD-29 and emulsifier to reactor, start stirring for 5-10 minutes;

2. Add 30kg water to stir for 5 minutes, add 3 kg acid water to stir for 5-10 minutes;

3. Add 30kg water to stir for 5 minutes,

4. Add 50kg water to stir for 5 minutes,

5. Add 50kg water to stir for 5 minutes,

6. Add 50kg water to stir for 5 minutes, add 2 kg acid water to stir for 5-10 minutes;

7. Add 50kg water to stir for 5 minutes,

• Add 50kg water to stir for 5 minutes,
• Slowly add rest water while stirring add rest acid water, stir evenly for 5-10 minutes, add glacial acetic acid to adjust PH value to 5-6

Notice: Must use high speed machine, last time can add water slowly.

Emulsifier recommend BASF XL40:XL90=3:7

When in cold weather, emulsifier is easily to freeze, heat and stir to thaw before use.
